I know this was a historic election; but seeing a hologram on CNN was not something that I was expecting at all. The ideas from Star Wars are finally starting to materialize. Very cool. Takes videoconferencing to the next level.
I say it's about time. What do you think?

Yes. We have come far. I'm excited to see how this technology will be used. Imagine when this technology becomes widespread enough to be used in schools and corporations. We will be able to project ourselves into meetings globally without having to fly there, or professors will be able to project into classes to teach. Videoconferencing of the future.
