One of the best prototype for desktop computer that I have seen. No monitor is really necessary if you can project the display on a wall. I think this is a great idea. It provides real estate as bit as the wall you are projecting on and a monitor does not take up desk space and you are not limited by the display capabilities of the monitor. The keyboard has a great design as well. It looks as if it is a touch screen sort of display. The peripherals all connect to the circular base. Very cool!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Source: <a href="http://www.yankodesign.com/2008/06/23/laptopdesktop-hybrid/">http://www.yankodesign.com/2008/06/23/laptopdesktop-hybrid/</a></p> <p><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_XwCcbrDu6QI/SVJ296Ils-I/AAAAAAAABw4/kxX2VElJH_A/s1600-h/yanko1%5B3%5D.jpg"><img style="border-right: 0px; border-top: 0px; border-left: 0px; border-bottom: 0px" height="306" alt="yanko1" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_XwCcbrDu6QI/SVJ2-eUhuWI/AAAAAAAABw8/zsTU7cd2QkU/yanko1_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="347" border="0" /></a> </p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_XwCcbrDu6QI/SVJ2-8wWdiI/AAAAAAAABxA/2xPm3ddhvdI/s1600-h/yanko2%5B6%5D.jpg"><img style="border-right: 0px; border-top: 0px; border-left: 0px; border-bottom: 0px" height="574" alt="yanko2" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_XwCcbrDu6QI/SVJ2_Vz5gbI/AAAAAAAABxE/WXDRYouoguA/yanko2_thumb%5B4%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="351" border="0" /></a> </p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_XwCcbrDu6QI/SVJ2_4a6O-I/AAAAAAAABxI/Z28GMtJZM_U/s1600-h/yanko3%5B3%5D.jpg"><img style="border-right: 0px; border-top: 0px; border-left: 0px; border-bottom: 0px" height="602" alt="yanko3" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_XwCcbrDu6QI/SVJ3AmenLII/AAAAAAAABxM/ceApAzJLf38/yanko3_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="355" border="0" /></a></p> Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12279767505638893022noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3675126785363219782.post-58782909141770619472008-12-08T14:28:00.001-08:002008-12-08T14:28:26.233-08:00Interactive LED Coffee Table - The Wave<p>SOURCE: <a href="http://www.becausewecan.org/LED_Coffee_Table_The_Wave">http://www.becausewecan.org/LED_Coffee_Table_The_Wave</a></p> <p> </p> <p>This is a very cool interactive table. This is how it works. You take a normal digital camera and take multiple images of a specific object or location. You then upload the images to their application. It then figures out where the images overlap and creates almost a virtual 3-dimensional portrayal of the object or room. This is very cool. </p> <p> </p> <p>To try it out, go to <a href="http://www.photosynth.net">http://www.photosynth.net</a></p> <p> </p> <p>Check out the video.</p> <div style="padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px" id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:b37429e2-9a36-464f-b7ab-4e6a894e1897" class="wlWriterSmartContent"><div><embed src="http://services.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f8/1274171289" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" flashVars="videoId=1849017698&playerId=1274171289&viewerSecureGatewayURL=https://console.brightcove.com/services/amfgateway&servicesURL=http://services.brightcove.com/services&cdnURL=http://admin.brightcove.com&domain=embed&autoStart=false&" base="http://admin.brightcove.com" name="flashObj" width="486" height="412" seamlesstabbing="false" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" swLiveConnect="true" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"></embed></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12279767505638893022noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3675126785363219782.post-49382232897261617162008-11-05T16:52:00.000-08:002008-11-05T17:04:44.131-08:00Hologram on CNNI know this was a historic election; but seeing a hologram on CNN was not something that I was expecting at all. Is it an unrealistic? Well it is a concept car, but with human potential, genius and creativity, I do not think it is impossible. It is not a matter of how, but of when. I just hope this does not run on gas. Imagine flying hundreds of feet in the air and running out of gas? </p> <p>The probability of these concepts becoming a reality will depend on us developing alternative sources of energy.</p> <p> </p> <p>What do you think? Realistic or not?</p> <p> </p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/frank.jerome/SQMubk1DYCI/AAAAAAAABkU/WzOhJ50DuUQ/s1600-h/Audi_Calamaro_Concept%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" border="0" alt="Audi_Calamaro_Concept" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/frank.jerome/SQMub3LkG7I/AAAAAAAABkY/qh7tXMxMDu8/Audi_Calamaro_Concept_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="423" height="207" /></a></p>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12279767505638893022noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3675126785363219782.post-66668819085819964272008-10-23T20:09:00.001-07:002008-10-25T09:06:15.220-07:00Nokia Morph<p>This concept phone blew me away. This totally tops the previous post because it involves nanotechnology. I believe the next wave of major innovation will come from nanotechnology and the possibilities will be endless. </p> <p> </p> <p>There are too many great things about this concept phone. I will leave them to be revealed through the viewing of this video.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is truly a next generation device. (not doing it justice by calling it a phone).</p> <p> </p> <div style="padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px" id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:d9b98b7f-08ba-4cfc-a5fd-f9812ad45814" class="wlWriterSmartContent"><div><object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/IX-gTobCJHs&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x2b405b&color2=0x6b8ab6&border=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/IX-gTobCJHs&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x2b405b&color2=0x6b8ab6&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12279767505638893022noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3675126785363219782.post-76589758680569995902008-10-16T20:50:00.001-07:002008-10-16T21:21:15.889-07:00Form follows you<p align="center">Could you guess what this is a concept of?</p> <p align="center"> </p> <p align="center"><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/frank.jerome/SPgLje7RpeI/AAAAAAAABjE/VcsuO626ei8/s1600-h/Nokia888_2%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" border="0" alt="Nokia888_2" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/frank.jerome/SPgLjuW-jgI/AAAAAAAABjI/X_QlI1ZJPMM/Nokia888_2_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="412" height="200" /></a> </p> <p align="center">[Source:www.nokia888.com]</p> <p align="left"> </p> <p align="left">Yes. </p> <p align="left">This phone is amazing. If you think the iPhone is hot; I'd pick this over the iPhone any day. This is the 2nd best concept phone that I have seen online. <strong>The design idea is that the form of the phone will change to the need of its user during the day. </strong>This is 21st century; the devices adapt to us.</p> <p align="left"> </p> <p align="left">What I like about this phone?</p> <p align="left">1. The flexible and adaptable material. - This phone has a great look. One thing about it, it does look next gen. with a futuristic design. Simple, yet elegant.</p> <p align="left"> </p> <p align="left">2. The interactivity - This phone is alive. It interacts with the user in a way like no other. It is almost like having a pet. Well, you get my point. </p> <p align="left"> </p> <p align="left">3. Functionality - It has GPS, video, large, long screen, able to pay with it I believe (the video shows it briefly). It can be programmed to react in different ways depending on if it is a call or alarm etc.</p> <p align="left"> </p> <p align="left">4. The look -It is slick and fashionable; can suit anyone's style. </p> <p align="left"> </p> <p align="left">Check it out.
